Coach Guerrieri on the 2008 Texas A&M Soccer Signing Class:
"This is one of the biggest and deepest signing classes that we've ever brought to Texas A&M soccer. We needed to bring in a class that could inject immediate starters and role players to replace our great class of eight graduating seniors. This signing class will do just that – it brings in players with National Team and Regional ODP team experiences as well as big time USYSA success in their careers.
"Our recruiting continues to target exceptional players who bring special skills to the team. All of these players are great individual players who chose A&M for different reasons. But one thing they all had in common was their desire to be great teammates, understanding that as Aggies they can achieve even greater goals because of our "team first" philosophy.
"This class includes some amazing athletes with great technical and tactical talents. Each of them comes from a great youth system with great coaching and player development programs. Each of them possess special and unique game breaking abilities. Any of them would be the one shining star in just about any recruiting class in our conference and across the nation, but that's just part of why we feel so fortunate to have them at Texas A&M - I love bringing them here because they are all winners and are accustomed to pushing themselves to be the very best they can be, on the soccer field, in the classroom, and in their communities.
"Our goal with Texas A&M soccer continues to be focused on winning the National Championship and to build our student-soccer players into champions for life."
