  • Earned Honorable Mention 5A All-State honors on the defensive line from both the Associated Press and Texas Sports Writer’s Association.
  • Two-time First Team All-District defensive line. (District 8-5A)
  • Dallas Morning News Second Team All-Area defensive line.
  • Member of Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Super Team (2nd Team DL).
  • During his senior campaign registered 46 tackles including eight sacks.
  • As a junior notched 55 tackles including seven tackles for loss and two sacks.
  • Coached by Dave Meadows at DeSoto HS.
